Technology is so common these days you’re only hurting your child by not getting them online early. Start them young so they’re prepared when they’re old. Here are a few good sites to help get you and your child started online.

NetSmartzDon’t let all of the bad news scare you form the web. The web is an excellent resource if it’s used correctly and safely. Here’s a few sites to get you up to speed so you can protect your children online. Special sections for children teach online safety in fun, interactive ways.

  • NetSmartz - Run by The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. “NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for children aged 5 to 17, parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.”
